A small team building the remote desktop tool we wanted to use ourselves.
RemoteDesk started because helping a colleague fix a machine three time zones away should not require a VPN, a ticket and an afternoon. We wanted something you can install in a minute, hand someone a 9-digit number, and be connected.
So we built it: a direct encrypted connection between two devices, a tiny server that only introduces them, and clients for every platform people actually use.
